Allison Schwartz

Allison is the Global Government Relations and Public Affairs leader for D-Wave. As an Upstate New York native, with over 20+ years of experience in public policy, Allison has a strong background in global government relations and public affairs. Over her career Allison has worked on many key public policy issues including, but not limited to, diversity and inclusion, emergency response, technology, data security, cybersecurity, privacy, tax simplification, small business, financial services, humanitarian services, and immigration.

At D-Wave she is building a bridge to policy makers, influencers and academia on the benefits that quantum computing can have in the global environment. Prior to D-Wave, she was the Vice President of Government Relations at ANDE, working on using rapid DNA technology during emergency response and for national security initiatives. As the Global Government Relations Leader for Dun & Bradstreet, she was responsible for the company’s public policy and government relations efforts and won a company-wide award for innovation in 2018. She worked with NGO’s, policy makers and national and global organizations to showcase how data and technology can align with global society needs and sustainable development goals. Allison also sat as board member of WEConnect International, a global organization which helps women-owned businesses succeed and grow in the global value chains.

Prior to Dun & Bradstreet, Allison was the Vice President of Government Relations and Public Affairs for Intuit, where she managed a team of global government relations professionals who provided strategic outreach to elected leaders, NGO’s, policy influencers and regulators on a variety of public policy issues. Allison was also a consultant in Washington, DC to a wide variety of clients including domestic, international, and multi-national corporations as well as foreign governments for over a decade. She was also a committee staffer for the US Senate Banking Committee.
