Congressman Mark Takano was elected in 2012 and serves on the Science, Space, and Technology Committee; the Veterans' Affairs Committee; and the Education and Workforce Committee.
The congressman serves as co-chair of the Maker Caucus, the Battery Energy Storage Caucus, the Work for Warriors Caucus, the Deaf Caucus, and the LGBT Equality Caucus. He is Whip for the Asian Pacific American Caucus and Vice-Chair of the Progressive Caucus.

The congressman is a member of the House Ways and Means Committee and currently serves on its Subcommittees on Oversight and Human Resources. Congressman Crowley is also Vice Chair of the Democratic Caucus, the fifth-highest ranking position in House Democratic Leadership.
He is active in a variety of congressional caucuses and serves as co-chair of the Congressional Caucus on India and Indian Americans and the House Caucus on Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, among many others.
Commissioner Clyburn is now serving her second term at the FCC. She was originally nominated in 2009 by President Barack Obama and was re-nominated in 2013. Commissioner Clyburn served as Acting Chairwoman of the Federal Communications Commission from May through November of 2013.
A longtime champion of consumers and a defender of the public interest, Commissioner Clyburn considers every Commission proceeding with an eye toward how it will affect each and every American. She is a strong advocate for enhanced accessibility in communications for disabled citizens, and works closely with representative groups for the deaf and hard of hearing.
